  We rented 3 units; 2 of them for a full week. Had grandchildren and children joining us. John and Susan took care of all details for reservations perfectly. The rooms, the pools, restaurant, grocery were wonderful. Staff everywhere was very friendly and professional. We can't wait for next summer, and may try a stay this winter.

  The locking system was a challenge. The keys were difficult to insert and even more difficult to cause the lock to open or close. We spent several minutes attempting to unlock and lock with each entry.

  the visit was wonderful except for on minor detail, i could not get the room warm from the heater. and also the phone system to call was very static
  but i would come to Bend again if the occasion were to come again to visit/

  Need to check for burned out bulbs. The heat lamp in the bathroom was burned out. Also need to check for left behind items. A pair of men's denim shorts was in one of the drawers. Minor things but should be fixed. Nice place. Easy to get around Bend and to and from the airport.

  One problem we had was that we didn't have a pool key and had to ask for it, which took a while. Also, the pool key did not work for the workout facility, which would have been nice. One more issue would be to have the outdoor furniture cleaned before guests arrive. It was filthy and we had to clean it off.

  The unit we rented is obviously old and might have some cosmetic upgrades, but they are minimal. The plumbing is pretty poor- running toilet, poor water pressure, no disposal, etc. We used the murphy bed, and I feared that the blankets we used dated to the 60s and might not have been washed since. I don't know if we would want to rent the place again becasue of these things. Susan was wonderful to work with, and the rental accomodated our old dog. I would rent from this property manager again, but perhaps a different unit or place altoghether.
