  I along with my family stayed in this unit for 30 days because we were in the transition of moving from one home to another in Bend. I have been in the hospitality business for 26 years and have worked at several properties and have a very good knowledge of diamond and star ratings that properties are rated on. I have to say that these two rooms have a long way to go to meet the standards that the resort and the AUO as a whole are striving for to get things up to triple A standards. Just about everything in these rooms needs a complete make over; The Carpets need replacing, flooring in the kitchen and baths needs to be tile, cabinets in the kitchen and baths needs replacing, countertops as well. All of the furniture is dated, worn, and unacceptable. Wallpaper is unacceptable, those shinny gold lamps must go too. The bathrooms may just as well be gutted and re-done from the floor up. I realize this would be an expensive project but I also know that these improvements would only enhance the value of this unit much more than it would cost to do it. This unit is on the third floor, has a loft, wonderful views, and the resale value would improve immensively with these improvements.

• This room was so dirty!!! There was even a cup outside on the porch that had cigarette butts in it..the large burner on the stove did not work, and our room was not stocked with proper amount of towels, shampoo,lotion was used and not new..

  The place was not clean, pots and pans were put away dirty. there needed to be either a rug in the entryway (to sop up wet footprints) or a mop, but there was two brooms, no dustpan, no mop. Having no heat was not pleasant, and it took about 4 phone calls, on the second day we were there, before we got someone to bring in a space heater. there we no extra blanket, the kids were freezing on fri night. if you knew there was no heat, or even thought there was no heat, you should of been pro-active and called and offered to help.

  The door to the bedroom does not close all of the way because it is severely damaged. It is hard to move because it rubs against the floor. It needs to be replaced. Not impressive, otherwise a nice place.

  First of all, if I was the owner I would be embarrassed to have my name associated with such a DUMP! They're name is framed and on the wall. Carpeting is in need of replacement and dirty as well. Bird droppings galore outside the front door. Screen door window off deck isn't there! Windows are filthy. One front burner didn't work, others worked poorly. Not enough kitchen utensils. Top of refrig was filthy. TV was dirty and bedroom TV channel changer didn't work. Slider door into bathroom is broken and toilet adjacent to this was dirty.

  Very friendly, helpful, and accommodating property managers. Will definitely come back again. Great family area to hold BBQ. Excellent place for teams looking for place to stay. Access to pools & hot tubs.
